Our 100% Hungarian owned company is located at the gate of Őrség in Zalalövő. We produce 200,000 m2 of EDELHOLZ wood flooring on 6.9 hectares with 190 employees every year, processing 13,000 m3 of oak wood produced exclusively in Hungary. We are focusing on the Hungarian market, where every year more and more families choose our safe, generational EDELHOLZ floors.
The charm of EDELHOLZ EDELHOLZ is an innovative specialist in oak flooring. We emphasize the unique natural qualities of Hungarian oak in our surface treatments to make each floor fiber a unique piece. For us, color means the tree itself. The unique and inimitable design of the fibers and the play of stunning colors are brought to life by the reactions of natural surface treatment techniques. The advantage of our floors is that they are easy to maintain without sanding. Nursing or refurbishment should only be carried out by qualified personnel using the prescribed tools and care products.
We are constantly paying attention to the environmental impacts, so we place great emphasis on sustainability not only during production, but also during floor care. After a long time, a slight change in the color intensity of the floor can be observed. Despite the use of UV blockers in addition to oxidative oils during surface treatment, freshly oiled floors always appear to be more vivid and full of life than their previously laid counterparts. Exposure to sunlight and natural light causes the floor to lose its initial color intensity, which is a natural process. These natural changes occur mainly on specially treated surfaces, such as smoked-white oiled floors.
