With great passion, the craftsmanship is maintained in the Filipich carpentry.
Master carpenter Anton Filipich is assisted by a second carpenter, two apprentices and two apprentices. The training of apprentices is very important to us: we pass on our expertise and our experience and ensure that the next generation will perform carpentry precisely. On 1 July 2008 Anton Filipich junior took over the business from his father, Anton Filipich senior.
Carine Malle, the owner’s sister, runs the office. The company was founded in 1949 by grandfather Anton Filipich, who converted the former stables of the estate into a small workshop. He started back then, in the difficult post-war years, with two apprentices. In 1962, the company already had eight employees. When Grandfather Filipich died in 1967, his son was only 18 years old.
He had to wait for the prescribed minimum age of 25 years and the master examination before he could take over the operation in 1974. Today, modern working rooms are available on an area of 400 square meters.
